I don't believe this is new.
I for one have always been aware that overusing or abusing Tylenol cans
cause liver problems.
Apparently there is an issue with Tylenol and other acetaminophen pain
relievers. It seems that they can cause liver toxicity that may lead to
liver failure. Certain conditions may put people at a greater risk of
liver
problems or even overdosing. If you go to
https://www.lawyersandsettlements.com/case/tylenol there is a lot more
information on this and what can be done about it. There is also a free
case
evaluation provided for those who know anyone that may have been affected
by
this. I hope that this might be of some help.

No, this is not new. Certianly here in the UK the dangers of paracetamol
have been known about for years. As I understand it, in some countries on
mainland Europe the antedote is placed in the paracetamol to avoid the
danger of accidental overdose liver damage. But this is not the case in the
UK

I have found that ny of those medications can cause liver problems. I was
using Ibuprofen (motrin) during my bout with shingles and my liver enzymes
went sky high. They told me that's common when using antiinflammatories a
lot. Truly, meds are never that great for our liver, which is why you
should have your doctor run the liver enzymes test now and then. My doctor
runs it every year at my physical. This time they sent me for a liver scan
and found I have gallstones.
