Headaches and Wisdom Teeth...

I realize that this may be a painfully obvious question, but I'll ask
anyway...Does still having your wisdom teeth increase your chance of
having migraine headaches?

I have only had my two lower wisdom teeth removed, but still have my
two upper wisdom teeth. I don't know if the headaches are due to
other medical conditions that I have dealt with in the past
(hydrocephalus) or maybe if the remaining two wisdom teeth are part of
the problem that are causing the headaches this time.

By the way, I am 31 years old.

Any ideas or feedback is appreciated...

People have had every tooth pulled out of their heads and still been
left with headaches.

I can certainly understand how some people could make a connection depending
on how close the teeth are to the sinus cavities. I recently had a crown
redone and a couple fillings put in. I'm really sensitive to the novacaine
shots up in the upper tooth area. I had surgery on my jaw back in '93, so
it's sensitive when they go up in there with needles. When they did this
recent work, it really hurt and affected my right sinus for almost a week.
I had some kind of icky sinus headaches...really drove me nuts trying to
treat something I couldn't treat. Kept feeling like a bad sinus infection
starting. It's better now, but I think some people might find connections.

I would say it depends on if they are bothering you or not.
I get headaches from my teeth in general.
I only had one upper wisdom tooth and it was tiny so they took it out mostly
cause it was in the back and decaying badly.
So I would say it depends on if your teeth bother you or not
at the time of the h/a. This is what I have come to find out.
